Freshly Baked Hot on the heels of recent work to make Yoast’s WordPress SEO plugin play nicely with Shopp 1.2.x I have taken a look at another of Yoast’s plugins: Google Analytics for WordPress.
Although the Yoast website boasts that this is Shopp compatible (and I believe it was, at least with older versions) many people have found that it simply doesn’t do the business with the latest Shopp releases.
Now I have to insert a caveat at this point: though I use Google Analytics extensively the same is not true of Yoast’s Google Analytics for WordPress plugin. So I could have missed a few things here … however a simple change to Yoast’s code does seem to bring it up to date with the latest changes in Shopp.
For anyone who is interested, feel free to download the modified version and try it out. Feedback dependant I’ll see if Yoast can incorporate the change so it’s available for anyone downloading the plugin via the WordPress plugin repo. Thanks!
